We are all quick to make a list of things that tick us off. And, surprisingly, we can all get behind the same irritating list, like it has some unifying power. Are we as quick to make a list of inspiring things that set us apart, those things that make us tick? What sparks your creativity, your passion, your drive to make your story known? In this podcast, hear from everyday people, with everyday ticks...some that unite us on our bad days and some that identify us as we pursue our passions.
The National Parks
The National Parks is an American indie folk band from Provo, Utah. Originally forming in 2013, the band has been through a couple talent changes, but after hearing Brady and Megan’s love story, it sounds like those two are committed. We cover skiing, allergies, spirit food, man colds, air hand-dryers, and band names. They’ve toured all throughout the US, but “At The Heart,” Rexburg, ID will always be one of their most special “Places.”

Kate Hansen
Recruited at the ripe old age of 10 to compete in Luge competitions which took her to Sochi in 2014. #olympics. She retired at 21, enrolled in college, travels on her motorcycle, and is now pursuing a career in personal training and holistic medicine for athletes. Pepper in sports broadcasting and correspondence with Jimmy Kimmel, and you’ve got Kate.
Eric Woodyard
Eric Woodyard is an award-winning journalist from Flint, Mich. He graduated from Western Michigan University. Eric covers the Detroit Lions for ESPN’s NFL Nation team. Basketball and home are some ticks that remind him to stay positive and give back daily. He loves spending time with family and friends but if you have him over, just make sure you give him a heads up if you have any pets at home, especially cats…
